2. Description of Services
RoastInPublic is a community platform that enables:
- Builders to submit their projects (websites, landing pages, applications, designs) for visual feedback from the community
- Roastersto provide pinpoint visual feedback ("Roasts" and "Props") on submitted projects
- All users to participate in discussions, earn authority scores, and compete on leaderboards
3. Account Registration
Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Submit malicious URLs or attempt to spread malware
- Manipulate authority scores, leaderboards, or other metrics
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to interact with the platform without authorization
- Engage in spam or deceptive practices
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
5. Content Submission
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to RoastInPublic, including feedback, comments, and project descriptions. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our Services.
Project Submissions
When submitting a project for feedback, you represent that:
- You own or have the right to share the project URL
- The project does not contain illegal or harmful content
- You understand that feedback may be critical ("brutally honest")
Feedback Content
Feedback (Roasts and Props) you provide becomes part of the public record on the platform. You grant project owners the right to use and reference this feedback for their purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Platform
RoastInPublic, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by RoastInPublic and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without explicit permission.
Trademarks
The RoastInPublic name, logo, and related trademarks are our property. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable trademark law.
DMCA Policy
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on our platform, please contact us with a detailed DMCA notice including:
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Location of the infringing content on our platform
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury

7. Rewards, Bounties, and Payments
Rewards Program

No Guarantee
We do not guarantee any specific rewards, earnings, or outcomes from using our platform. Authority scores and leaderboard rankings are for community engagement purposes and have no cash value unless explicitly stated.
8. Disclaimers
As-Is Service
Your use of our Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
No Endorsement
We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content, feedback, or project submissions. Views expressed by users are their own and do not represent RoastInPublic.
Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoastInPublic and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or computer damage
- Cost of substitute services
- Emotional distress from feedback received
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or (b) $100 USD.

11. Termination
By You
